The mission of Baseball For The World is to play, lead and teach baseball for the glory of God throughout the world. Sports are welcomed in any country and with BFTW we have the opportunity of sharing baseball and Christ.

Our goal is to build relationships with baseball players through teaching or playing the great game of baseball. We desire to demonstrate that a person can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a baseball player.

BFTW is a part of Foundations of Missions Ministries that was born in 2004. Before 2004 founder of FMM Bobby Leonard had served as a missionary to Brazil and participated in more than 50 mission trips in North America, South America, Europe and the Caribbean. In 2004 Bobby and his wife, Robin decided that God was leading them to form FMM. Bobby and Robin have been to more than 20 countries serving the Lord.

BFTW recruits players and coaches from across America to work alongside career missionaries sponsored by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. All trips are requests made by these missionaries.
