EQUIPMENT

BFTW seeks donations of baseball equipment that is in good condition. Baseball equipment is very expensive in Eastern Europe. When you donate equipment, that is left with the coaches, players or missionaries you make it possible for another person to play the great game of baseball. BFTW and FMM have donated more than $50,000 of equipment since 2005.

SERBIAN BASEBALL CLINICS

BFTW will return to Serbia in October to lead clinics throughout the country of Serbia. This is an opportunity for a closer relationship with Serb players and coaches as we conduct clinics for individuals and teams. At this time we have been invited to demonstrate baseball in schools. At these clinics students are introduced to baseball and encouraged to join one of the teams that the local missionaries work with.

SERBIAN BASEBALL

Nikola Vucevic serves as the general secretary of the Serbian Baseball Federation. He told Bobby Leonard last October, “Baseball would not succeed in Serbia without the help of the Christians in America.” What a wonderful statement.

Baseball has only been played, seriously, in Serbia for 10 years. The players are making stride to improve the quality of baseball but they need you. Since baseball is so new few players possess the mechanics to become players on the international level.

We have seen many boys and girls playing baseball in Belgrade and Cacak and they are improving each season, but without more coaching and equipment their level of play will not improve. You can make the difference.
